Frequently Asked Questions
The Answers You're Looking For
Whether or not you have received mental health care in the past, it is completely natural to be curious about our services and policies. Below, you will find quick responses to some of our most frequently asked questions and if you have any other inquires feel free to message us at support@hearpsychotherapy.com
Can I bring family members or friends to my admission?
For individual therapy, you have the option of occasional conjoint sessions in which you invite a loved one to 1-2 sessions so they can share their thoughts about your challenges and progress. This helps provide additional information to support the individual therapy sessions. If a client wants ongoing couples or family therapy sessions, however, this would need to be set-up separately from the individual sessions and typically with a different provider than the individual therapist.
What type of insurance do you accept?
We are not currently accepting insurance and all sessions are charged as private pay.
Is what I say during my treatment confidential?
Yes; all video sessions, phone calls, email correspondence, and documentation are kept confidential according to HIPAA guidelines.
What conditions do you treat?
We provide treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), phobias, grief and loss, anger problems, behavioral addictions, insomnia, stress, burnout, relationship problems, and life transitions. Contact us today at support@hearpsychotherapy.com to discuss the challenges you are experiencing.
